WIP Tattoo: Lion and Lamb

A good friend of mine commissioned me to illustrate his next tattoo. He requested the Biblical "Lion and Lamb" and told me to have fun with it as long as I incorporated a cross. Here are a couple sketches of the two designs he liked the most. Apologies for the crappy picture quality of the light sketch!

Well, it's been so long since I updated this blog, hell.. even visited it. Life has certainly thrown me a few curve balls: studied abroad in Croatia, graduated, fell in love (and out of love) got my old job back, been hired for commissions, soon-to-be moving.. Certainly not the way I had planned my life to begin after college.

One of my New Years resolutions was to come here more and actually post. I have so many things I can paste on this blog, and I'm getting around to it. I'm finally able to take great quality photos of my old pieces and new ones I'm currently working on. Also been updating my resume and business cards! Hopefully getting those out soonish. :)

Visual Essay

This is one of my projects we're doing in Visual Essay at the moment. We need to create 3 cohesive pieces that can stand on their own as well as in the cluster. I chose the life of an animal, a wolf. I thought the family habits of these animals would make for some potentially neat images. Plus, drawing a carnivore is always a plus. :P
